The Result of Wisdom



Mākatā pākatā ceva, sakkata vohāropi ca.
Etesu kovido pañño, dhīro pāļim visodhawe.

မာဂဓာ ပါကတာ ေစ၀သကၠတေ၀ါဟာေရာပိ စ။
ဧေတသု ေကာ၀ိေဒါ ပေညာဓိေရာ ပါဠိံ ၀ိေသာေယ။

According to him only the wise one who is skillful in the 3 main Indian language, viz, Pali ( the language of Magadha) and Prākrits, together with Sanskrit, by studying them by means of the time-saving modern method of Philosophy or bhasa.veda) can be an expert in Pali, who can purify the original Pali words of their corrupt forms or deviations (in order to keep the Pali treatises in their pure original slate).
